cityLAB fellow 2017-2018
Kenny is a third year Masters student at UCLA pursuing concurrent degrees in Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning. Previously he lived in Oakland, CA, designing high-density multifamily housing projects around the San Francisco Bay Area. Kenny received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a minor in Environmental Design and Urbanism in Developing Countries from the University of California, Berkeley. With a wide range of research interests, his courses have taken him to villages in China to study urbanization, towns in Spain to visit the beach, and gardens in Tokyo to write stories. His love for cities drives an interest in planning for equitable community development and affordable housing to keep people in them.
